Candis is a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at Definiti where she specializes in complex retirement plans, ranging from mid to large sized accounts. With over a decade of experience in the retirement plan industry, she has become known for her problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. She has been instrumental in analyzing processes and implementing efficiencies that improve workflows. Having displayed an acumen for the industry, Candis has also aided in the development and training of up and coming consultants. Candis holds a Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC) designation with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Ryan Tiernan is a senior national accounts manager at Capital Group, home of American Funds. He has 19 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for three years. Prior to joining Capital, he founded Access Point HSA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Certified Investment Management Analyst® designations. Ryan is based in Providence, RI.

Director, 3(16) Fiduciary Services
Melanie leads the 3(16) Fiduciary Services division and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of several Definiti offices along the east coast. She works closely with the administration team on complex technical matters, Voluntary Correction Program filings, and escalated client relationship issues. Melanie has worked in the retirement industry since 1989 and is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA). She also maintains her Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designations. She earned her Master’s in Business Administration and undergraduate degree from New Hampshire College.
